FOR OUR NERVOUS PATIENTS

We take extra special attention to reduce anxiety and sensitivity. From the beginning and planning of our office, we searched for ways to make your visit a pleasurable experience. We have therefore provided our clinic with many instruments, equipment and techniques that allow us to deliver comfortable and painless dental care:

Nitrous oxide

Happy air or laughing gas is a safe and proven technique to reduce dental anxiety. Its rapid induction and elimination make it ideal for patients who want to feel relaxed during their appointment but do not want any long lasting drowsy effects created by anxiety medication. Nitrous oxide is also great for people with a severe gagging reflex.

TV´s

We want you to feel as comfortable as can be and this is why we opted to equip all our rooms with TVs and DVDs. You can distract yourself by tuning into your favorite TV or radio station or watch a video of your choice as we complete the treatment.

Have you ever had a bad dental experience?

It wasn´t so long ago that going to a dentist was associated with anxiety, nervousness and physical pain. Unfortunately, for some people, the thought of visiting a dentist stirs up all those old negative images...
We understand and we know that those thoughts and feelings are extremely difficult to control or forget.
We want you to know that you´re not alone in feeling this way and that we have treated many patients who suffered extreme dental anxiety (shaking, loss of consciousness...)
If you suffer from anxiety (uncontrollable thoughts, sweating, heart palpitations, muscular tension . . .) when thinking of having dental treatment, the first thing to do is to tell us. We have many efficient techniques at our disposal which can help you to relax and to finally live an enjoyable dental experience.
If your fear is too great, we also provide conscious sedation which may allow you to sleep through your appointment.
See our section on conscious sedation for more details.

With Sedation Dentistry you don´t have to be afraid anymore . . .
